Mission Statement

A Vision For Our Community

At Concord Family Academy, we believe that strong, supported mothers create thriving families. By fostering growth in learning, community, motherhood, and marriage, we empower mothers to lead with wisdom and love. As they flourish, their children naturally reap the benefits—gaining nurtured hearts, inspired minds, and a lifelong passion for truth. By investing in mothers, we build stronger families, a resilient community, and a brighter future for all.

Our Mama Ethos

Harnessing the Power of Mothers

Our goal is to find joy in our divine roles as mothers, wives, and daughters of God. We strive to build a community that enriches all our children, fostering a love for education and lifelong learning. With a deep connection to God, we seek His guidance as we provide an enlightening, whole-soul education for our families.

At Concord Family Academy, commitment is key. We ask our mamas to be ‘all in’—actively building friendships, sharing their gifts and talents, and fully engaging in our community. Each mother is expected to teach and serve on two committees annually, ensuring that our co-op remains a collaborative, high-involvement experience. This is not a drop-off program but a thriving, hands-on community where every member contributes to our shared success.

Heart Based Learning

To Instill Compassion and Leardership

CFA uses the principles of Heart-Based Learning as outlined in the programs of Well-Educated Heart (WEH) as well as Leadership-Based approach of Thomas Jefferson Education (TJED) and LEMI. Our homeroom gatherings follow the monthly rotation of the WEH, and therefore each age group discusses common themes which likely were already presented by mothers using the WEH rotation at home. We also draw from other praise-worthy educational philosophies such as Waldorf Education, Montessori Education, Charlotte-Mason Education, and etc.

Things to consider before applying

We are disciples of Christ and as such we welcome all families to join. We are mostly members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Letter-day Saints and we make ample usage of language and standards consistent with restored-gospel principles.

We are a community that thrives on genuine connection, teamwork, and shared purpose. Joining Concord Family Academy means fully embracing our vision and contributing wholeheartedly. This is not a drop-off program or a casual commitment—it is a deeply involved co-op where every mother plays a vital role. We expect members to actively build friendships, support one another, and work together to create the environment we all cherish.

Every mother in our group teaches, serves in leadership roles and/on committees, and contributes her gifts and talents for the benefit of all. If you are looking for a place to belong, to grow, and to be part of something meaningful, we welcome you with open arms. However, if you prefer a passive role or minimal involvement, this may not be the best fit. We are here to build, uplift, and create something truly special—and we need members who are just as committed to that vision as we are.”
