We believe that a good organization starts at the top–and at the top of Concord Family Academy are MOTHERS. We believe that supporting mothers in learning, community, motherhood, and marriage will help foster a great community that will trickle down to the children and cultivate a love of learning and a passion to seek truth.
mission & vision
Concord Family Academy is a group of families focused on creating a heart-based learning environment centered upon Jesus Christ, restored-gospel principles, and strengthening entire families. We focus on strengthening mothers through unity and education and warming children’s hearts toward Christ and each other in our efforts to raise up a generation of youth committed to striving toward the good, the true, and the beautiful in fulfilling their God-given missions. We offer weekly, half-day classes for the whole family and enlightening and unifying activities that promote growth, enjoyment, and scholarship.
mama mission statement
The mothers of Concord Family Academy are committed to the peace, well-being, and eternal welfare of all the mothers of CFA. We love to learn together, grow together, push each other to be our best selves and support each other in life. We strive to find joy in our roles as mothers, wives, and daughters of God. We strive to create a community that will benefit all of our children and develop a love of education and life-long learning. We have a deep connection to God and pray continually for guidance in our endeavors to provide an enlightening, whole-soul education for our children.

scholarship
We believe that scholarship consists of steps that bring a person to a whole-soul education. The steps build upon each other and are as follows:
1 – Relationships (Influence is gained through strong and meaningful relationships)
2 – Warming Hearts (Bring people to the Good, the True and the Beautiful)
3 – Love God (Confidence that you are loved by God, can have faith in God and know God)
4 – Service (Serving others deepens education)
5 – Capstone Projects (Projects are an anchor, and add depth and a common thread to education)
Heart-based learning
CFA uses the principles of Heart-Based Learning as outlined in the programs of Well-Educated Heart (WEH). Our homeroom classes follow the monthly rotation of WEH therefore each age group has discussed a common theme which can be expanded by the mothers at their individual homes with all of their children.
Learning and enjoyment
Feast of Nations
The CFA community has many activities which combine learning and enjoyment. We feel that if children enjoy what they are doing, they learn more. One such activity is our Feast of Nations. We experience a bountiful meal based upon an area of the world that the children are studying. These feasts are always a hit!
